What to Expect in Your First Session
In your first session at Dragonfly Psychology, you’ll step into a warm, welcoming space designed to help you feel at ease. We begin by getting to know you—your background, your current challenges, and your aspirations for therapy. This initial conversation is a relaxed, open dialogue where your experiences are met with empathy and respect. We’ll outline how we work together, discuss your goals, and establish a plan tailored to your unique needs. Expect a session that prioritizes your comfort and confidentiality, setting the foundation for a trusting and collaborative therapeutic journey.
Cost
Initial assessments are typically about one and a half hours and cost $220. Most clients require an initial assessment before proceeding with therapy appointments. Therapy appointments are 50 minutes long and cost $180.
What if I need to cancel or change an appointment?
It is not unusual to occasionally need to change appointment times. If you need to cancel or change your appointment, please provide at least 24 hours notice
Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will be charged 50% of the session fee (i.e., $80). Non-attendance of a session without prior notice, except in the case of a serious emergency, will be charged at the full rate of $180
