Accepting ADHD/Autism Assessments

Individual Therapy

My approach is deeply rooted in the belief that healing and growth are possible, even amidst challenging circumstances. I tailor my therapeutic strategies to each client's unique needs and comfort. With individuals, I draw from a variety of styles such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). This integrative approach helps develop greater self-awareness, build resilience, and create a more meaningful and fulfilling life story.

I have a particular passion for supporting those who have experienced trauma. Recognizing the profound impact trauma can have, I've specialized in trauma-informed care and am proficient in multiple modalities such as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). I am committed to providing compassionate and effective support to help individuals heal from past experiences and move towards a brighter future.

I am particularly interested in supporting neurodivergent adults as they navigate the unique challenges and strengths that come with their neurodiversity. I strive to create a neurodiversity-affirming space where individuals feel understood and empowered.

In our sessions, we can work collaboratively to navigate

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Trauma

  • Life as a neurodivergent adult

  • Life transitions

Autism/ADHD Assessments

I provide a warm, non-judgmental space for individuals and families seeking clarity about their neurotype. I am pleased to formally offer comprehensive psychological assessments for Autism and ADHD.

Understanding your unique cognitive profile can be a deeply validating and empowering experience. Our assessment process is thorough, collaborative, and neurodiversity-affirming, designed to give you clarity and practical recommendations moving forward.

What to Expect: The Assessment Process

My comprehensive assessments are tailored to your needs and generally involve the following steps:

  • Clinical Assessment Sessions: This involves either two 50-80-minute appointments or a single 2-3 hour appointment, depending on what works best for you.

  • Collateral Information Gathering: To get a full picture, I collect and interpret information from external sources. This ideally includes insights from someone who knew you as a child, someone who knows you well as an adult, and any available school reports or feedback.

  • Psychometric Testing: I will administer and interpret relevant psychometric tests to understand your unique profile.

  • Feedback & Reporting: I conclude with a feedback session and the provision of a comprehensive psychological report detailing your results and personalised recommendations.

Note: You can attend your appointments in person or online via Google Meet if you are unable to attend in person

Clinical Supervision

My approach to supervision is a collaborative and reflective model, fostering a safe and encouraging environment for supervisees to explore their clinical work, ethical considerations, and personal growth. I believe in empowering supervisees to develop their own unique therapeutic style while adhering to best practices and ethical guidelines.

In our supervision sessions, we can focus on:

  • Case Conceptualization and Treatment Planning: Deepening your understanding of client presentations and developing effective treatment strategies.
